PRINCIPAL’S NOTE
I am indeed delighted to greet you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Our Seminary is committed to equipping and training both young men and women from diverse social and cultural backgrounds for effective ministry in the Church and the world. Theological education offers a vision for a new humanity and an alternative world grounded in the values of God’s Kingdom. Our students are encouraged to renew their calling and prepare themselves faithfully for the mission entrusted to them. In a world fragmented by violence, injustice, poverty, sexual deviation, child abuse, and many other challenges, our Seminary strives to empower students to become bearers of the holistic truths found in the Word of God.

Ecumenism is the hallmark of the Indian Theological Seminary’s philosophy. We are blessed to have faculty members and students from across India, fostering a community that learns to live harmoniously throughout their years of formation. Through this, we aim to contribute effectively to the fulfilment of Gilgal Gospel Mission’s vision of “Preaching Christ and Planting Churches” across our nation.
It is my sincere prayer that the vision with which the Indian Theological Seminary was established will continue to grow, reach greater heights, and shine as a beacon of hope to society.
Dr. Mariamma John
