Admission Procedure
Application Process
- Download the application form from the Seminary website.
- Fill in all required details clearly and choose the appropriate course of preference.
- Attach copies of all necessary supporting documents.
- Submit the soft copy of the completed application form:

- By email: indiantheologicalseminary@gmail.com
- Submit the hard copy of the application form along with all required documents:
- In person to the Admission Counsellor, or
- By post/courier to the Seminary address.
Note: Incomplete application forms will not be considered for admission.

Residential Programmes
- Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.) & Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.)
(Offered under the affiliation of the Senate of Serampore College [University])- Without late fee: 31 May

Extension Programmes
- Bachelor in Christian Studies (BCS)
- Diploma in Christian Studies (Dip.CS)

Additional Requirements for Residential Programmes
- Entrance Examination
- Candidates must appear for an entrance examination, likely to be held in the first week of June.
- The entrance exam will cover the following subjects:
- Bible Knowledge
- General Knowledge
- English
- Personal Interview
- Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a personal interview before the Admission Committee.
- Fee Payment
- On the day of admission, students must mandatorily pay the course registration fee along with the first instalment of the annual fee.
- Submission of Original Certificates
- All original certificates must be submitted to the Academic Office for verification, including:
- Secondary (10th) Certificate
- Higher Secondary (12th) Certificate
- Undergraduate / Postgraduate Degree Certificates (if applicable)
- Migration Certificate or Transfer Certificate from the last institution studied
- Note: Students opting of residential programmes offered by the Senate of Serampore university, will not be permitted to attend or pursue any other parallel studies (regular or extension programmes) during the period of their theological studies at the Seminary.
